Pastor of Preaching & Vision: Kyle Cheatham
Kyle is our Founding Pastor and the Pastor of Preaching & Vision at Grace Church Jarrell.
He brings thirty-three years of experience into this plant, including twenty years of pastoring a Central Texas church which he planted in 2001. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts from Howard Payne University and a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. It energizes Kyle to emphasize that God is sovereign, holy, and good. His passion is helping others to know, love, and obey God’s Word as they grow into disciples who make disciples.
Jacklyn is Kyle's wonderful partner in life and ministry. She brings a love for people and a heart of creativity, joy, and service to this adventure. Kyle and Jacklyn have two young sons and two happily married daughters along with two grandchildren. As of November 28, 2022, Kyle & Jacklyn are official residents of Jarrell. God has provided yet again in amazing ways to make this move possible, enabling the genuine sharing of lives. The following Scripture describes the heart that Kyle and Jacklyn have for the people of Jarrell and the surrounding area: “…being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.” (1 Thessalonians 2:8)

Music & Technical Director: Doug Uyechi
Doug joined Grace Jarrell in the summer of 2023 and leads the Grace Worship team on Sunday mornings. He also oversees the technical aspects of our Sunday morning experience including the digital content on our social media platforms, website, and YouTube. Doug is a graduate of Baylor University and has over 25 years of bi-vocational worship leading and technical directing experience in several churches. His wife and ministry partner of 30+ years serves as the team percussionist. They have 2 children and 1 adult child. It is his passion to create an environment when people not only glorify God through song, but have a personal connection with Him in a corporate setting.
